Specifications

Aluminum Attendant Booth

STRUCTURAL FRAME: .090 extruded aluminum structural shapes (conforming to ASTM B 429), with concealed fasteners. Curved shapes are quarter-round sections including 3.5” radius.

WALLS: In-fill panels to be .063 painted aluminum sheet, exterior and interior, precision formed for accurate fit with no exposed fasteners. 1” rigid polystyrene foam (R-9) insulation.

FINISH: All metal surfaces coated with two coats chemical and graffiti resistant DuPont IMRON© polyurethane enamel over two coats industrial primer. Color as selected by architect/owner from manufacturer’s standard color chart.

ROOF: Composite 3” thick panel of polystyrene insulation with pre-finished white, stucco embossed .032 aluminum sheet top and bottom, providing an “R” value of 17. Drain provided for water runoff. Custom formed aluminum louvered parapet walls as indicated on the drawings.

DOOR: Heavy duty aluminum constructed sliding door, top-suspended, with high security mortise-type hook-bolt lock. Door to be fully weather-stripped. Sliding window or fixed vision window provided in upper half of door utilizing 1/4” tempered safety glass. Swing door available as an option.

FLOOR: Heavy-duty aluminum treadplate floor finish. Floor supports of structural .125 aluminum tube welded to frame as an integral part of entire framing system. Pre-engineered and pre-drilled anchor holes in booth frame provided for concealed anchorage. Aluminum treadplate floor optional.

GLAZING: 1/4” tempered safety glass set in aluminum frames.

COUNTER: Plastic laminate counter(s) located per drawings. Locking cash/storage drawer optional.

ELECTRICAL: All wiring to meet NEC standards; all components to be UL listed. System voltage to be 120/240 volt, 60Hz, single phase, 3 wire. Standard lighting to be two-tube 40W fluorescent fixtures, ceiling mounted with wraparound acrylic lens diffuser. Duplex receptacles and light switch mounted as required per drawings. Roof-mounted HVAC (providing 13,500BTU cooling / 5,600BTU heat) or wall-mounted HVAC (size and output varies) provided as optional accessories. All electrical components pre-wired in surface-mounted 1/2” EMT conduit to circuit breaker panel.

Booths can be modified for Handicap Accessibility.

Booths are shipped completely assembled, pre-finished and pre-wired, ready for immediate use.
