SpecificationsHi-Tech Series Aluminum Bus/Smoking Shelter STRUCTURAL FRAME: Vertical and horizontal intermediate framing members to be extruded .125" wall aluminum tube, reinforced, and mechanically fastened with concealed zinc galvanized fasteners. Corner posts and roof perimeter to be quarter round shaped .090 walls as indicated on the drawings. WALL PANELS: (If applicable) In-fill panels comprising the wall structure shall be of .063 aluminum sheet exterior and exterior, with 1" rigid insulation between cavity. FINISH: All exposed surfaces shall be fade and graffiti resistant DuPont IMRON Polyurethane Enamel, two coats, over heavy-duty industrial primer. One finish color shall be selected by the architect/owner. Multi-color paint available as an option. INSULATION: Wall and door panels (if applicable) insulated with 1" rigid polyurethane (R-7) ROOF: Shall be 1-1/2" thick composite roof panel with white .032 pre-finished aluminum sheet top and bottom and rigid insulation (R-9) between cavity. Optional roof to be 1/8" clear acrylic dome, heat formed and mechanically fastened to roof frame. DOORS: (if applicable) 1-1/2" thick aluminum tube (.125" wall), fully weather-stripped, top-hung sliding door(s) with commercial grade mortise type hook bolt locking device. Fixed window provided in upper half of door. ANCHORING: Pre drilled steel anchoring points shall be provided for anchorage to concrete slab with wedge-type anchors. GLAZING: All wall and door panels shall be glazed with 1/4" tempered safety glass set in extruded aluminum frames. Glazing shall be specified clear, gray or bronze tint. ELECTRICAL: (Optional) All wiring to meet NEC standards; all components to be UL listed. Light fixtures/air conditioning /heat/exhaust fans provided as required as optional accessories. INSTALLATION: Anchoring system complete per final accepted shop drawings and in full accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and instructions. Minor adjustments to the shelter may be required at time of installation, due to possible variances and irregularities in poured concrete slab. Electrical rough-in in concrete slab to be coordinated with the shelter manufacturer Vista Series Bus/Smoking Shelter STRUCTURAL FRAME: 14 gauge galvanized steel (conforming to ASTM A 500, Grade B) tubular uni-frame, all joints welded. All exposed welds ground smooth. FINISH: All steel surfaces treated with one coat high build rust-inhibitive industrial primer. Finished with two coats industrial polyurethane enamel; paint to be salt, chemical and graffiti-resistant. Choice of one color by owner/architect. ROOF: 3" thick insulated (R-19) roof panel with white .032 pre-finished, stucco embossed aluminum sheet top and bottom. Roof to have 3" standard overhang on all four sides with 8" high aluminum fascia. Includes scuppers at rear of shelter (quantity varies depending on size of shelter) for water runoff. Roof sealed with weatherproof caulk, elastomeric membrane and coating. DOOR: (Optional) Heavy-duty sliding door, top-suspended, with high security mortise-type hook-bolt lock. Door to be fully weather-stripped. Vision window provided in upper half of door utilizing 1/4" tempered safety glass. ANCHORING: Pre drilled steel anchoring boots included. GLAZING: ¼" tempered safety glass set in aluminum frame glazing sash with interior portion installed with mechanical fasteners, exterior portion to snap in place. Exposed fasteners are unacceptable. Glazing must be easily removable and replaceable without disassembly of the framing system or any other part of the shelter. ELECTRICAL: (Optional) All wiring to meet NEC standards; all components to be UL listed. Light fixtures/air conditioning /heat/exhaust fans provided as required as optional accessories. INSTALLATION: Set on concrete pad, level and anchor with wedge anchors. If applicable, connect to incoming electrical service. |
