Nunez Construction was tasked on renovating the old Pan Am Terminal building at MIA Airport. Part of the renovation was building a security guard station. This project was under a time crunch, and they needed to figure out a way to get a station done while meeting the deadline. What they decided to do was purchase one of our Prefabricated Aluminum Security Booths. This booth was custom manufactured to fit exactly the needs of the end user. For example, this booth has one of our double action sliding doors. Both the top part of the door and bottom part can open. Also, this booth was manufactured to meet the High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements of 175mph in Miami-Dade County. The booth sized at 4’6 x 8’6 included hurricane laminated impact resistant glass. Along with a pre-wired electrical package, roof-mounted HVAC system, & custom sized fascia.
