Security Booth Size Consideration

When considering the size of the  security booth, guard booth, guard house or guard building you need, you’ll need to first and foremost check the site where you plan on installing a new booth. You want to make sure that you have enough room in order to install it. Secondly, all security booths, guard booths, guard houses and guard buildings that are installed should be ADA compliant at minimum and may require an ADA restroom due to the distance from the guard booth to an ADA restroom onsite.  If the desired size of the security booth can’t be ADA compliant, you’ll need to check with your local authority having jurisdiction if an exemption would be given to have a guard booth that is not ADA onsite. Generally, an ADA prefab booth would be approx.. 6′ x 8′. The ADA prefab guard booth with restroom would be approx.. 6′-6′ x 16′-0″. Mardan has the ability to size the guard booths all the way up to 12′ x 24′ depending on the usage of the security booth. Generally the 6′ x 8′ prefab security booth can fit at least 1-2 people comfortably inside. If you are needing more security officers or equipment inside the security booth, we’d suggested going with minimum 8′ wide x 10′ or 12′ long.
