Back in 2014, this parking booth was purchased by the City of Miami Beach for revenue collections in a parking garage. They decided to go with Mardan Fabrication due to the heavy-duty aluminum construction which doesn’t rust or deteriorate in a high salt area being so close to the beach. This parking booth is manufactured to meet High Velocity Hurricane Zone wind requirements in the State of Florida and the 175mph wind requirements of Miami Dade County. This parking lot booth included impact resistant glass, pre-wired electrical package, one sliding door and sliding window. Miami Beach also decided to have the exterior of the booth painted teal to match the existing color of the parking garage. The parking booth is one of Mardan Fabrication guard booth / security booth applications, and prefabricated, portable and factory-assembled.
